• School Improvement

At James S. Rickards High School, our approach to school improvement is built on a continuous improvement model that uses research-based best practices to guide progress.

School improvement planning allows us to:

    • Identify areas of academic and institutional need
    • Establish unified strategies to address those needs effectively
    • Promote accountability and measurable growth at every level

Our dedicated School Improvement Team plays a vital role by:

    • Leading the creation of a data-informed school improvement plan
    • Ensuring that the plan aligns with student achievement goals
    • Monitoring implementation and progress
    • Updating the plan as needed to reflect current challenges and opportunities

This process supports our mission to cultivate a thriving learning environment focused on excellence, equity, and long-term success for all students.
