Welcome to Griffin Information Technology Preparatory Middle School, home of the TIGERS!!! Allow me to introduce myself, I am Ms. Jocelyn Nelson and I am a proud graduate of Florida A & M University with a B.S. degree in Food Science and a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership.  This is my 7^th year at Griffin and my 10^th + year teaching. I am honored to be teaching your child this 2016-2017 school year and look forward to an exciting and rewarding year of growth and progress.  Students and parents/guardians are asked to read the syllabus in its entirety to ensure that everyone knows what is expected of the students at all times.  I am very much interested in meeting some of the parents/guardians personally to engage you in the learning process of your child as it pertains to my science class.  As such, I welcome any emails, face-to-face visits, phone calls, or any other form of communication that is most convenient for you.  I would like for you to feel as though you can contact me at anytime regarding the progress of your child, and I would like the assurance of knowing that I can contact you whenever I need to do so.  Again, welcome and do not hesitate to let me know how I can be of better assistance to you and your child(ren).
