Hawks Rise Elementary School

Welcome to room 604 at Hawks Rise Elementary School!

My name is Renee Deason. I am a PROUD born and raised Tallahassee girl and have been teaching here at H.R.E.S. since 2012, continuing the tradition of many fabulous educational examples of my grandmother's teaching at Hosford Elementary and grandfather, principal of Shanks High school in Quincy, paving the path before me. This school year will be my seventh time around on the kindergarten thrill ride!  I am beyond honored to be a member of such a wonderful dream team of a fantastic family of folks here in Kindergarten! I have been very fortunate to find my true love with these little ones. Witnessing these five-and six-year-olds is such a special time for your kiddos to make connections in learning and with friends.

Kindergarten kicks off the learning journey experience as well as affords these lil hawks a precious opportunity to form bonds and make new lifetime friendships. Including you as family members at home, we will all learn new things every day!

Now please keep your arms, hands, and legs inside the moving vehicle at all times and full steam ahead for a bunch of wild memories and an amazing year of growth together, as I am certain that this school year will contain many wonderful learning adventures!!!
