Kari Crowder

Kari graduated from FSU with a Psychology degree and never left Tallahassee.  Kari married “Coach Crowder” (wrestling coach at LHS) and they have 2 adult sons.  Kari started her teaching career as a science teacher at Florida State University School (Florida High) as a 6^th grade science teacher.  Kari taught there for 4 years and made the move to Swift Creek Middle School.  Kari spent 15 years as a science teacher at SCMS.  While Kari was at SCMS, she earned her master’s degree in Ed Leadership and moved on to Lincoln High School.  Kari was at LHS for 3 years until she was offered a Dean of Students position at Fort Braden School.  Kari served at Fort Braden during the “shut down” year and the digital academy year.  At the end of her 2^nd year at Ft. Braden she received a job as AP at Nims Middle School.  From there she went to Cobb Middle School and now to Sail High School!  Kari enjoys reading, traveling, and any activity on the water (boating, kayaking, beaching).  Kari enjoys working out and spending time with friends.
