    • College Financial Aid Website:  The official financial aid website from your college may have a list of internal scholarships and grants you can apply for.  Call as soon as you receive an admission acceptance letter and commit to attend.
    • Local organizations:  Look for scholarship opportunities with nearby community foundations, rotary clubs, women's clubs and more. Most of these will be shared to Seniors in an e-mail and posted on SAIL's scholarship roster below.

    Start your scholarship search early!

    Begin by reviewing which scholarships you qualify for, and then apply to all that interest you!  

    Most scholarships renew each year, but it is up to the student to VERIFY DEADLINE DATES prior to submitting their scholarship application.

    Note that some of these listings are local, some are national, and others are trusted scholarship search engines. Most schools will also have their own internal scholarship opportunities.

    Please allow enough time to:

    ~ Write, proofread, and finalize an ESSAY (if required.)

    ~ Ask for, receive and attach LETTERS OF RECOMMENDATION.

    ~ Request INTERMEDIARY TRANSCRIPTS to be sent electronically[Students must email the school name and receiving email address to our Registrar: deanna.perry@leonschools.net ]  *FINAL transcripts will NOT be available until approximately 3 weeks after graduation.

    Complete ALL parts of an electronic application, and write neatly on a paper application.
