• New Student Guidelines 2024-25

    • All exterior gates will remain locked at all times. After 8:00am, students must enter the school through the main gate, including all afterschool activities.
    • Cell Phones: In accordance with CS/HB 379 and LCSB Policy 5136, cell phone use will not be allowed in classrooms during instructional time. We understand that students carry cell phones for emergency purposes, but their use in the classroom is strictly prohibited. To reduce interruptions, we encourage parents to contact the main office to speak with their child if needed. If students use their cell phones during class, they will be sent to ISS (In-School Detention). This procedure ensures that students remain focused on their studies without distractions.

    • Students are required to follow the dress code as outlined by LCS. If you are out of dress code you will be taken to ISS. Please check the dress code details here: Dress Code Information.

    • If students arrive late to school, they must check in the attendance office to obtain a pass to class. Excessive tardies or arriving late without a pass will result in students being sent to ISS. Also, if students are caught in the halls without a pass, they will be considered skipping and taken to ISS.
    • If students need to leave campus during school hours, they must obtain a pass from the attendance office.
    • For lunch, all eligible Juniors and Seniors must show their school-issued student ID to leave campus. Underclassmen (Freshman and Sophomores) are not allowed in the parking lots during the school day unless they have a pass from the attendance office.
    • Students who participate in extracurricular activities, like clubs and sports, will be deemed ineligible after five tardy/unexcused absences per class. Their eligibility can be reinstated by working with the attendance office.
