Hello Fabulous Families!

My name is Amanda Hutchins and I have been a trailblazer here at Desoto Trail since 2015! My family and I moved to Tallahassee from Kentucky back in 2011. I began my teaching adventure in 1998. I received my Bachelor's degree of Elementary Education from the University of Kentucky and my Master's degree of Instructional Leadership from Eastern Kentucky University.

I have two wonderful children, Samuel and Laura Grace. We also have two fur babies and a lizard you might see in my classroom.

For fun our family loves going to the parks here in Tallahassee, going to movies, traveling to festivals around Florida and definitely soaking up the sun at the beaches!
