Dear Parents,

It’s hard to believe we are already planning for our Spring trip! We would like to give you the opportunity to do some planning, too.

As many of you know, our big trip in fifth grade is an overnight adventure to NASA. We ask that you be prepared to commit to the trip early in the year. This commitment will give us the numbers that will allow us to ask for approval of the trip by Leon County Schools. After receiving the approval, we will require a $100 deposit by the end of September which will allow us to secure the charter buses. The remaining balance will be determined by the total number of students and chaperones that have committed to the trip with their $100 deposit. Unfortunately, we will not be able to accept additional students after the deposit deadline has passed. 

Knowing that the beginning of the year can be an expensive time, we hope that being aware of the expectations early can help you budget.
